Conjures up images of dessicated tree branches, like thorns, jutting out of equally dessicated trunks – rugged, old and ominous. I love the way you create atmospheres, and vivid images that frame them with so few words.
you’re quite good at these! I used to write some haiku….really only dabbled with it briefly. I like the use of cadence, but I find the haiku formula is too restrictive for things I want to say. You make good work of it 🙂
